I’m Adina.
I’m from Eugene, Oregon, and am a junior at Scripps College majoring in Media Studies and Spanish. I have a strong passion for community-driven storytelling. My most recent project is a short documentary (Las Tejedoras). Producing Las Tejedoras taught me how powerful video production can be as a tool of resistance and a platform for amplifying the voices of underrepresented communities. The process helped me reconnect with my indigenous Peruvian roots and embrace my mixed heritage. Filmmaking now feels like both self-expression and a bridge back to family and place. I’m excited to continue creating work that preserves memory, reclaims culture, and challenges dominant narratives.
